Autodesk Fusion
Download the Backflip add-in installer that's compatible with your operating system. Windows and macOS are currently supported.
Run the installer and follow the instructions it provides. Note that on macOS you may receive a system warning that the installer could not be opened. If you do, navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security then scroll down to the Security section and click "Open Anyway" on the Backflip AI .pkg notification to run the installer. We'll have the installer verified with Apple soon and this will go away.
Activate the add-in in Fusion. Open up Fusion then navigate to Utilities > Add-ins > Scripts and Add-Ins (or press Shift + S). Find the Backflip AI add-in row and activate the toggle in the Run column. If you'd like the add-in to run every time you open Fusion, make sure the Run on Startup box is checked as well.
Sign in to Backflip to get started. The Backflip add-in will appear in Fusion with a Sign In button. Clicking it will open up a browser tab with login instructions. If you haven't created a Backflip account yet, you can sign up from the same login page. After you've successfully logged in, you can move back to Fusion where you can now access your Backflip part library and AI tools in the add-in.
